About Us
Steps to work is a robust partnership of voluntary and public sector organisations specialising in helping people disadvantaged into paid and unpaid employment, training and education. This is a free service and is not dependent on whether you are in receipt of a working age benefit.
As a Partnership we are united in our passion and determination to reach out to and enrich the lives of our clients. Our resourcefulness, our valuable links with the business community and the extensive knowledge that we have built up over the years, will enable us to really help and support you as you take your first steps towards work.
Support is designed specifically to suit you and make take the form of:
- In work benefit or money management advice
- Job search, CV writing or interview skills training
- Building confidence or other motivational short courses
- Work experience placements
- Support to gain employment or self employment
- Support to retain existing employment is available (mental health or recovering from drug or alcohol dependency only) if your disability or health condition poses a serious risk to being able to retain your employment.
